AMBER TOWNSHIP — A 52-year-old-Ludington man was arrested by Mason County sheriff’s deputies for meth possession and second-offense driving while license suspended following a traffic stop on US 10-31 near Dennis Road, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.
The man was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
Another traffic stop Sunday, March 16, shortly after 8 a.m. on US 10 near Nelson Road in Pere Marquette Township resulted in the arrest of a 38-year-old Ludington woman who is charged with possession of crack cocaine, said Sheriff Cole.
The woman was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

- 7:30 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 34-year-old Baldwin man was arrested following a traffic violation on warrants for a retail fraud and failure to appear child support out issued in Lake County, Nelson Road and US 10, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
Saturday, March 15, 2025:
- 3:41 a.m., (LPD), a 21-year-old Ludington man was cited for trespassing, 300 block of East Court Street, City of Ludington. The man had been issued a trespass notice for the same location Wednesday, March 12.
- 5:15 a.m., (MCSO), alarm activation, Amber Township.
- 8:22 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Rasmussen Road west of Meyers Road, Pere Marquette Township.
- 1:47 p.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, Sugar Grove Road west of Custer Road, Sherman Township.
- 7:08 p.m., (LPD), a 21-year-old Ludington man was contacted regarding a bond violation. He was observed to be in the presence of a person he was prohibited to be in contact with — by an order of Mason County’s 51st Circuit and 79th District courts. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
Sunday, March 16, 2025:
- 2:15 a.m., (LPD), a 35-year-old Ludington man was stopped in the area of US 10 and Brye Road for traffic violations that occurred in the City of Ludington. He was found to be under the influence of alcohol/drugs and was wanted on a child support warrant issued in Kent County. He was arrested for operating while intoxicated and lodged in the Mason County Jail.
- 8:36 a.m., (MCSO), alarm activation, Amber Township.
- 8:37 a.m., (LPD), a 41-year-old Ludington man was arrested on a failure to appear – contempt of court warrant issued by Mason County’s 79th District Court, 300 block of North Delia Street, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
- 9:04 p.m., (MCSO), a 68-year-old Scottville man was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant issued in Mason County for possession of meth, 3500 block of North Amber Road, Victory Township.
