The following is recent police activity in Mason County:
Thursday, Feb. 27, 2025:
- 6:47 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 25-year-old Ludington woman was cited for driving while license suspended, First and Jefferson streets, City of Ludington.
- 7:28 a.m., (LPD), a 37-year-old Ludington man was cited for operating without a license, Rath and Tinkham avenues, City of Ludington.
- 7:48 am, (LPD), a 34-year-old Ludington woman cited for operating without a license and operating an unregistered vehicle, Washington and Tinkham avenues, City of Ludington.
- 10:59 a.m., (LPD), a 33-year-old Manistee woman was cited for expired registration and operating without insurance. at Tinkham Avenue and Monona Drive, City of Ludington.
- 11:28 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), one-vehicle crash, no injury, US 31 freeway north of the Pere Marquette Highway overpass, Pere Marquette Township.
- 1:02 p.m., (MCSO), a 57-year-old Fountain woman was arrested on an outstanding failure to appear warrant issued in Manistee County following a traffic stop, State Street and Reinberg Road, City of Scottville. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
- 8:09 p.m., (MCSO), a 41-year-old Scottville man was arrested on a felony parole violation warrant, 400 block of North Thomas Street, City of Scottville. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
- 11:46 p.m., (MCSO), alarm activation, Amber Township.
- 11:52 p.m., (LPD), a 38-year-old Mears man was cited for operating with an expired license and operating a vehicle without insurance, Maple Street and Jackson Road, City of Ludington.
Friday, Feb. 28, 2025:
- 2:08 a.m., (LPD), a 44-year-old Ludington man was cited for operating without insurance, Jebavy Drive and Bryant Road, City of Ludington.
