The riders safely made it out of the icy water
PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — Two people riding a four-wheeler on Pere Marquette Lake went through the ice Thursday, Feb. 27, shortly before 9:30 a.m., said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.
“Emergency crews were called to a reported four-wheeler that had gone through the ice,” said Sheriff Cole. “Two occupants on the four-wheeler had made it out of the water and back to shore uninjured. The four-wheeler sank in the lake.”
The ice emergency occurred near the Father Marquette Memorial, said the sheriff.
