The following is recent police activity in Mason County:
Monday, Feb. 24, 2025:
- 5:07 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 north of Free Soil Road, Free Soil Township.
- 4 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Fountain Road west of Budzynski Road, Sheridan Township.
- 9:33 p.m., (MCSO), a 36-year-old White Cloud man was arrested on two outstanding warrants, 3300 block of North Tuttle Road, Sherman Township. One warrant was a civil contempt for child support issued in Oceana County, and the other warrant was a probation violation issued in Muskegon County.
- 10:42 p.m., (MCSO), a 35-year-old Grand Rapids man was arrested on an outstanding criminal bench warrant issued in Grand Traverse County following a traffic stop, Meyers Road and Sixth Street, Amber Township.
Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025:
- 4:10 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway north of Meisenheimer Road, Summit Township.
- 2:03 p.m., (MCSO), a 45-year-old Newaygo woman was arrested for methamphetamine possession following a traffic stop, 200 block of South Main Street, City of Scottville.
- 7:19 p.m., (MCSO), a 49-year-old Ludington man was cited for driving while license suspended following a traffic stop, US 31 and Fountain Road, Victory Township.
Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025:
- 4:52 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 47-year-old Ludington man was arrested for felonious domestic assault, 600 block of First Street, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
