Friday, Jan. 24, 2025:

  • 3:02 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 33-year-old Ludington man was cited for operating without insurance, Washington Street and Ludington Avenue, City of Ludington.
  • 7:09 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), a 41-year-old Shelby woman turned herself in to deputies on a Mason County failure-to-appear warrant, sheriff’s office, City of Ludington.
  • 3:46 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle hit-and-run crash, no injury, Walmart parking lot, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 5:50 p.m., (MCSO), alarm activation, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 9:24 p.m.,  (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Free Soil Road west of Darr Road, Free Soil Township.
  • 9:54 p.m., (LPD), a 62-year-old Ludington man was cited for operating without insurance, Ludington Avenue and Staffon Street, City of Ludington.

Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025:

  • 6 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Budde Road north of US 31, Free Soil Township.
  • 6:31 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Scottville Road north of Conrad Road, Custer Township.
  • 12:13 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, Brye Road, north of Washington, Riverton Township.
  • 5:54 p.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, LaSalle Road south of Free Soil Road, Grant Township.
  • 6:08 p.m., (MCSO), vehicle slide-off, no damage or injury, southbound US 31 at mile marker 163, Summit Township.
  • 7:04 p.m., (MCSO), a 49-year-old Custer man was arrested for domestic assault following a 911 call reporting an assault, 100 block of East Conrad Road, Custer Township. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

Sunday, Jan. 26, 2025:

  • 3:04 a.m., (MCSO), damaged property, 100 block of High Street, City of Scottville. The complainant reported that the window of his pickup was broken, and there were dents in his truck.
  • 5:39 a.m., (MCSO), a 60-year-old Ludington woman was cited for driving while license revoked following a traffic stop, northbound US 31 at the US 10 off-ramp, Amber Township.
  • 1:51 p.m., (LPD), a 24-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on a criminal bench warrant issued by the 79th District Court for failure to appear, at Ludington Avenue and Jackson Road, City of Ludington. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 6:26 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Ehler Road west of Lincoln Road, Hamlin Township.
  • 6:44 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Pere Marquette Highway south of Hawley Road, Summit Township.
