LUDINGTON — FiveCAP will hold a Walk for Warmth fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 8. Proceeds raised a the event will help raise money to help with winter-time utility bills of those in need. Walk for Warmth will take place in Mason, Lake, Manistee and Newaygo counties. In Mason County, the approximately two-mile walk will begin at Community Church, 109 N. Harrison St. at 10 a.m., with registration beginning at 9:30 a.m. Refreshments will be provided.

“There’s no minimum donation amount to participate,” said FiveCAP Executive Director Mary Trucks. “All donations of any amount are appreciated and will be used for a good purpose.”

Community groups and individuals are encouraged to participate in the walk. Organizers ask that participants get their friends, families, co-workers, community and church groups involved with the event.

Direct contribution forms and pledge sheets are available at www.fivecap.org or the local FiveCAP office located at 302 N. Main Street, Scottville. For more information or to sign-up, please call (231) 757-3785.
