Tina Marie Stakenas, 32, of Ludington, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024. Tina was born on May 31, 1992, the daughter of David Stakenas and Kim (Reed) Castillo. She was a 2010 graduate of Mason County Central High School.
Tina loved spending time with her three children: Mackenzie, Vanessa, and Nathan. They were the light of her life, and she loved them more than anything. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, going on bike rides and to the beach, and playing on the playground with her kids. She enjoyed coloring to wind down and relax. She loved to sing and had a beautiful voice. Tina was an avid collector of all things Little Mermaid; it was her absolute favorite. She loved to laugh and make those around her laugh too. Tina will be deeply missed by all those fortunate enough to have known her.
Tina is survived by her children, Mackenzie Ahlgren, Vanessa Cook, and Nathan Cook; parents, David (Carol) Stakenas and Kim (Ramon Jr.) Castillo; grandparents, Clifford Reed and Sandra Stakenas; siblings, Tanya (Wayne) Hawke, Trevor Stakenas, Rebekah (David) Andrews, Kaci (Brian Sr.) Wagner, Denise (KC) Cory, Raymond Purple, Jacob (Tobia) Purple, Joshua Purple, Kristy Castillo, Toni (Nicky) Castillo, Trevor (Julianna) Castillo, and Cordel (Hope) Castillo; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends; and her close friend, Becki Gum.
Tina was preceded in death by her sister, Deborah Stakenas; maternal grandmother, Maureen Reed; and paternal grandfather, Gene Stakenas.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 3 p.m. at Radiant Church in Ludington with a luncheon to follow immediately after.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tina Stakenas Memorial Fund at West Shore Bank.
