Felonies
Borah
-Shawn Ryan Borah, 40; three counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct, domestic violence, and assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer; date of offense: Dec. 1, 2022; arraigned Dec. 23; preliminary hearing: Jan. 8; bail: $100,000 cash.
Rodriguez
– Chunky Anthony Rodriguez, 28; assault with a dangerous weapon and second offense domestic violence; arrested Sept. 1 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Dec. 23; preliminary hearing: Jan. 8; bail: $25,000 cash.
Smith
-Ruthie Margaret Smith, 37; two counts of failure to pay child support; date of offense: Jan. 1, 2018; arraigned Dec. 23; preliminary hearing: Jan. 8; bail: $2,000 cash.
Alvesteffer
-Blake Thomas Alvesteffer, 27; malicious destruction of property and second offense driving while license suspended; arrested Nov. 12 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned Dec. 23; preliminary hearing: Jan. 8; bail: $500/10 percent.
Misdemeanors
-Chad Edward Bontekoe, 44; three counts of general violations of wildlife conservation; date of offense: June 29, 2021; arraigned Dec. 19; pretrial: Jan. 6; bail: $250 cash.
-Michael John Gillis, 43; domestic violence; arrested Oct. 12 by Michigan State Police; arraigned Dec. 23; pretrial: Jan. 13; bail: $500 personal recognizance.
-Brianna Marie Goshe, 24; trespassing; arrested Nov. 19 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Dec. 19; pleaded guilty.
-Hannah Renee Gutowski, 25; domestic violence; arrested Dec. 19 by Michigan State Police; arraigned Dec. 19; pretrial: Jan. 16; bail: $500 personal recognizance.
