Police seek fugitive wanted for child sex crimes

LUDINGTON — The Ludington Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating fugitive Lee Gordon-Wayne Hansen, 35, who is a registered sex offender wanted for multiple serious felony charges, including third-degree criminal sexual conduct, possession of child sexually abusive material and solicitation of a minor for immoral purposes.

Hansen is wanted in connection with multiple incidents involving the sexual assault of minors with multiple victims, states an LPD press release. “He is believed to have used social media to target younger females, often concealing his identity and pretending to be a peer to gain the trust of his victims. His deceptive tactics were used to facilitate interactions that led to sexual exploitation.

Hansen is known to frequent the counties of Mason, Osceola, Manistee and Grand Traverse.

The Ludington Police Department urges anyone who may have had contact with Hansen or encountered a man using similar deceptive tactics to come forward. If you or someone you know has had interactions with Hansen or has information on his whereabouts, report them immediately to Det. Jacob Miller or dial 911. “Your help is crucial in locating this fugitive.”
