Laurie Bentz
Laurie Ann Bentz, a devoted Catholic, 67, of Ludington, passed away peacefully at home on November 22, 2024.
Laurie was born on February 24, 1957, in Ludington. She was the daughter of Loreta M. Sniegowski and Louis B. Sniegowski. Laurie loved cooking, baking, sewing, gardening, and collecting antiques. She enjoyed hosting family gatherings for the holidays and spending time with all her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Timothy Bentz, whom she married on January 20, 1978; and their five children: Carrie (Tim Genson), Matthew (Mona McLain), Mandy Snyder (Scott VanDevelde), Rebecca (Clinton Coleman), and Jonathon Bentz (Tiffany Skinner). She is also survived by: her brother, Danny Sniegowski; her sister; Amy German; her grandchildren, Jessica (Dakota Saez), Noah (Mary Genson), Aden McLain, Isabella Snyder, Chloe Snyder, Logan McLain, Renee McLain, Ethan Blough, Marley Bentz, Timmy McLain, Easton Skinner, and Beau Skinner; and her great-grandchildren, Natalie Saez, Amora Perreca, Nolan Saez, and Amelia Genson.
Laurie was preceded in death by her siblings: Louie Sniegowski, Patty Warner, Jeanie Farmer, Fred Sniegowski, and Mary Lange.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Laurie to 301 First Street, Ludington, MI, 49431.
