The Ludington Area Jaycees is holding its second annual Light up the Night Christmas lighting competition. Mason County residents are welcome to register their homes or businesses through Nov. 29.
There are two categories, Jaycees Choice and People’s Choice. Participants can win a first place prize of $500 and second place of $300 in the Jaycees Choice and $250 for first place and $150 for second place in the People’s Choice.
A map will be created on Google with all the participants’ addresses and will be shared on Dec. 1. The public will be able to vote online from Dec. 1 through 17. Winners will be announced on Dec. 20.
