VICTORY TOWNSHIP — West Shore Community College recently honored its legacy donors, who have each contributed over $50,000 to support WSCC’s Performing Arts Series over the past decade. Their support has allowed the college to award $54,000 in scholarships to performing arts students, making it possible to continue offering high-caliber productions like the most recent run of Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast.”
The honorees included businesses West Shore Bank, Jamesport Brewing Company and the Reed family, owners of Ludington Beverage Company, and Bill Roach and Bobbi Severance-Roach.
“We could not provide this level of programming for our community without the support of our donors,” said Ted Malt, director of the Performing Arts Series and professor of music studies.  “Their generosity is invaluable to our college, our community, and to the students whose lives are transformed by these opportunities. I can’t say enough about how much this support means to us all. Thank you!”
