Youth Advisory Council begins new grant round

November 7, 2024
LUDINGTON — The Community Foundation for Mason County Youth Advisory Council (YAC) has announced that it has begun a new grant round to support youth recreation programs in Mason County. The grant round opened November 1, 2024, and applications will be accepted until January 2, 2025.
The YAC Recreation Grant supports programs that seek to meet the needs of Mason County youth by providing recreational opportunities. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) organizations, churches, schools, agencies, and governmental units serving youth in Mason County.
Grant funds may be used to start a new program, enhance an existing program, or open up recreation opportunities for youth. School-supported sports/recreation programs are not eligible to apply for this grant cycle.
“We are excited to offer this grant opportunity to support youth recreation programs in Mason County,” said Beth Kirby, co-advisor for the Youth Advisory Council. “We encourage all eligible organizations to apply.”
Applications must be submitted through the Foundation’s online application system, GLM. Organizations that have not previously used the system will need to create a new account.
For more information about the grant, please visit the Community Foundation for Mason County website at https://mason-foundation.org or contact Andrea Large at 231.845.0326 or alarge@cffmc.org.
