79th District Court sentencings, published Oct. 4, 2024

LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

-Jonathan Wayne Haynes, 48, pleaded guilty on September 25 to domestic violence and was sentenced to 93 days in jail (suspended sentence), 12 months of probation, and $125 in fines/costs.

-Dakota Allen Hernandez, 20, pleaded guilty on October 2 to third-degree retail fraud and transporting an open intoxicant in a motor vehicle and was sentenced to 90 days in jail (suspended sentence), 12 months of probation, and $700 in fines/costs.

-Kenneth Charles O’Brien, 54, pleaded guilty on October 2 to larceny between $1,000 to $20,000 and was sentenced to 365 days in jail (suspended sentence) and $480 in fines/costs. As part of a plea agreement, charges of larceny between $200 to $1,000 and receiving/concealing stolen property between $1,000 to $20,000 were dismissed.

-Jonathan Wayne Hayne, 48, pleaded guilty on September 25 to operating a vehicle while intoxicated and was sentenced to 37 days in jail and $875 in fines/costs.

-Daniel Lee Haynor, 58, pleaded no contest on October 2 to assault and battery and was sentenced to 93 days in jail (suspended sentence), must seek outpatient treatment, no drugs/alcohol, subject to random PBTs and drug tests, and $580 in fines/costs. A charge of second-offense domestic violence was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.

-Cody Robert Patterson, 25, pleaded guilty on October 2 to assault and battery and was sentenced to 93 days in jail (suspended sentence) and $300 in fines/costs. Charges of domestic violence and disorderly drunk person were dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
