LUDINGTON — Recipients of the Ludington Area Jaycees 2024 Mini Golf Charity Mondays gathered at the Stearns Park mini golf course Monday, Sept. 23 where they were each presented checks as a result of the funds raised on Mondays throughout the summer.
The organizations were awarded 30 percent of the funds raised on that particular charity day. Checks presented totaled $5,090.60 with a range of $100 up to $658.20 due to time of the season, weather conditions and customers.
This year’s Charity Monday beneficiary nonprofit organizations were: Petunia Parade; AFFEW (A Few Friends of the Environment of the World); Shoreline FORCE; Ludington High School Boys Soccer Camp; JCI Ludington Freedom Festival; Lakeshore Food Network; Staircase Youth Services; Ludington Coats and Boots for Kids; Lakeshore Children’s Advocacy Center; Caritas Food Pantry; St. Simon’s Haiti Outreach Program; Ludington Resource Center; Childhood Cancer Campaign; and Jaycees’ Mini Golf Upgrades.
The Jaycees’ Mini Golf Course season continues the weekends of September and October, weather and customer interest permitting, Fridays: 4 to 9 p.m.; Saturdays: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sundays: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Starting October 1, 2024, nonprofit organizations may email jayceesfundraiser@gmail.com to request the 2024 Ludington Area Jaycees Mini Golf Major Projects Grant Application form. Completed application forms will be due Oct. 31 with grants being awarded before the end of the calendar year.
