Home repair program offered to Lake County residents

SCOTTVILLE — Lake County residents who are homeowners may be eligible for a new $472,000 home repair program offered by FIveCAP, Inc.

FiveCAP, Inc. announced a new $472,000 home repair program for eligible Lake County residents who are homeowners.

The Michigan State Housing Development Authority MI Neighborhood grant will assist homeowners who have income that is up to 80% of the area median income. Home repair assistance in the amount of $1,000 up to $40,000 will be made available. It is a requirement that homeowners have owned and resided at the house for one year and it is the primary residence.

Application can be made at the Lake County FiveCAP office at: 2476 W. 44^th Street, Baldwin or the main office located at: 302 N. Main Street, Scottville.
