LUDINGTON — Lake Michigan Carferry has cancelled the Thursday evening crossing of the SS Badger due to forecasted inclement weather. Scattered thunderstorms with possible hail and gusty winds is forecasted for Friday morning.
“We understand the disappointment and inconvenience this may cause and want to apologize for the impact this decision has on your travel plans,” a statement from LMC states. “While we are always committed to delivering an exceptional cross-lake travel experience, the unexpected weather conditions have made it impossible for us to do so in this instance.”
LMC is offering to reschedule trips or refund passengers’ money.
