LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in Mason County’s 79th District Court:
-Reenya Bilal-Clinton Burrell, 32, pleaded guilty on August 7 to a reduced charge of disorderly person disturbing the peace and was sentenced to seven days in jail, no drugs/alcohol, subject to random PBTs, and must have substance abuse evaluation. In exchange for her guilty plea, the original charge of malicious destruction of personal property was dismissed.
-Matthew Ralph Goodwin, 48, pleaded guilty on August 7 to domestic violence and was sentenced to 93 days in jail (suspended sentence), no contact with the victim, no drugs/alcohol, and is subject to random PBTs and drug tests.
-Erik Michael Kovach, 43, pleaded guilty on August 1 to operating a vehicle while impaired by liquor and was sentenced to 93 days in jail (suspended sentence), no drugs/alcohol, subject to random PBTs and drug tests, and $690 in fines/costs.
-Joseph John Riley, 43, was found guilty by a jury on August 5 to assault and battery and was sentenced to two days in jail, subject to random PBTs, must have a substance abuse evaluation, and $800 in fines/costs.
