Laura Ann Sly Hardenburgh, 49, of Ludington, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024.

Laura was born on November 22, 1974, the daughter of Diana Pearson Sly Wells, and Larry Sly. She was a 1993 graduate of Ludington High School. For over 28 years, she had been employed by Mancino’s of Ludington, most recently being the general manager. She had also been employed by Hardee’s, Hunan Gardens, and Rite Aid.  She was part of Ludington Church of the Nazarene.

Laura loved life. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family and was always up for a family game night. Together with her family, she took yearly camping trips, which they all looked forward to. She also enjoyed reading.

Laura is survived by her mother and stepfather, Diana and Walt Wells; sons, Logan Hardenburgh and Zachary (Ashlee Parks) Hardenburgh; daughters, Shelbi (Kaylee Smith) Hardenburgh and Rylee Hardenburgh; grandchildren, Atticus, Nayden, Zaylee, Nova, Amara; brother, Josh (Lacie) Sly; sister, Becky (Randy) Howard; sister-in-law, Laura Sly; best friend, Erika Minnberg; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Laura was preceded in death by her father, Larry Sly; brother, Matthew Sly; and maternal and paternal grandparents.

A special thank you to Oakview Medical Care Facility for the excellent care, Hospice of Michigan for guidance and support, and to all of her friends and family for their friendship to Laura.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Scottville. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. at the church.

Laura’s favorite color was lime green and bright colors. The family would appreciate attendees to wear bright colors to honor her.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
