79th District Court sentencings, posted July 5, 2024

The following were recently sentenced in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

-Garth Allen Lemere, Jr., 25, pleaded guilty on July 3 to third-degree retail fraud and was sentenced to three days in jail and $605 in fines/costs.

-Kathleen Mary Moran, 65, pleaded guilty on July 3 to assault and battery and was sentenced to 93 days in jail, suspended, must seek outpatient treatment, no contact with the victim, no drugs/alcohol/controlled substances, subject to random PBTs, and $250 in fines/costs. A charge of assault with a dangerous weapon (felonious assault) was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.

-Jeffrey J. Medina, 27, pleaded guilty on July 3 to operating a vehicle while intoxicated and was sentenced to 93 days in jail, suspended, must complete alcohol highway safety education, no drugs/alcohol/controlled substance, subject to random PBTs, must attend victim’s impact panel, and $1,090 in fines/costs.

-Tyler Jacob Young, 29, pleaded guilty no contest on June 27 to public intoxicated and prowling and was sentenced to two days in jail and $250 in fines/costs.
