Request for bids: Mason County Central Schools Spartan Community Field Sound Upgrade

Mason County Central Schools is soliciting quotes for work to be performed at Spartan Community Field, our football/track facility.
The school district is looking for a new speaker system for the facility. The current equalizer is considered to be in good enough condition to be utilized with the upgraded speakers. Quotes may be sent with and without consideration of upgrading that piece of equipment. Ideally the company has experience working with outdoor sound/athletic facilities and can give examples of their work. The district is NOT looking for a new scoreboard or wired press box microphone to be included in the quote.
Specific deliverables which need to be included are, but not limited to,
- Wireless microphone capability on the track
- Speakers which are able to reach the shot put/discus area immediately adjacent to the track (Can be seen on Google Maps)
- Upgraded sound for the competitors/spectators in the football field bleachers
Dates to be considered for this project:
- July 1, 2, 8, 9, 10 – Athletic Director Beebe will be available to take meetings or phone calls/walk around the facility on these mornings–please contact him to schedule a meeting
- July 12 – Quotes due via email by 5 p.m. to bbeebe@mccschools.org
- July 17 – Companies will be contacted by this date regarding their submission
- August 16 – Project completed by this date
Mason County Central School District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. All bids shall be binding for a period of 30 days from the date bids are opened. The company shall furnish proof of insurance to the District, and maintain insurance during the life of the contract.
