The following is police activity in Mason County over the weekend:

Friday, June 21, 2024:

  • 7 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, Beyer Road west of US 31, Victory Township.
  • 12:33 p.m., (MCSO), breaking and entering of a camper, Meyers Road south of US 10, Amber Township. The complainant reported that a camper trailer was broken into, and it appeared someone had been living in it.
  • 9:41 p.m., (MCSO), a 48-year-old Fountain woman was arrested on two outstanding failure to appear warrants issued in Mason County, 2200 block of North Benson Road, Sheridan Township.

Saturday, June 22, 2024:

  • 1:46 a.m., (MCSO), a 36-year-old Spring Lake man was arrested for operating while intoxicated following a traffic stop, US 10 and Meyers Road, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 3:06 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 29-year-old Ludington man was arrested for prowling and public intoxication following an incident in the 500 block of East Danaher Street, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 1:30 p.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, minor injury, Pere Marquette Highway north of Kinney Road, Pere Marquette Township.

Sunday, June 23, 2024:

  • 5 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 east of Bean Road Custer Township.
