LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79^th District Court:

Felonies

Moody

-Charles Keith Moody, 35; four counts of delivery/manufacturing a controlled substance (narcotics/cocaine) and fourth offense habitual offender; arrested Feb. 1 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned May 2; preliminary hearing: May 22; bai: $100,000 cash.

Heath

-Marshon Lafon Heath, Jr., 27; three counts of delivery/manufacturing a controlled substance (narcotics/cocaine) and fourth offense habitual offender; arrested Dec. 13, 2023 by Michigan State Police; arraigned May 4; preliminary hearing: May 22; bail: $50,000 cash.

Hornacek

-Ashley Lynn Hornacek, 37; four counts of delivery/manufacturing a controlled substance (narcotics/cocaine); arrested Feb. 1 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned May 2; preliminary hearing: May 22; bail: $25,000 cash.

Southern

-David Robert Southern, 45; third offense domestic violence and carrying a concealed weapon; arrested May 4 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned May 4; preliminary hearing: May 22; bail: $10,000 cash.

Reynolds

-John Eddie Reynolds, 30; larceny in a building, malicious destruction of a building, trespassing, and disorderly person disturbing the peace; arrested May 2 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 3; preliminary hearing: May 22; bail: $5,000/10 percent.

Shippy

-Alisha Jo Shippy, 41; possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine/ecstasy), second-degree retail fraud, and second offense habitual offender; arrested May 3 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 3; preliminary hearing: May 22; bail: $1,000/10 percent.

Hansen

-Kirk Richard Hansen, 56; third offense operating a vehicle while under the influence of liquor; arrested May 2 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 3; preliminary hearing: May 22; bail: $750/10 percent.

Hill

-Vernon Jeffrey Hill, 58; possession of a controlled substance (narcotics/cocaine) and second offense habitual offender; arrested May 1 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 2; preliminary hearing: May 22; bail: $250/10 percent.

Misdemeanors

-David James Monroe, 61; second offense domestic violence; arrested April 11 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned May 2; pretrial: May 20; bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.

-Kollin Lee Bates-Fargo, 26; fourth-degree child abuse; arrested May 1 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned May 3; pretrial: May 20; bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.

-Jonathan Wayne Hayne, 48; operating a vehicle while intoxicated; arrested May 5 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned May 6; pretrial: May 20; bail: $1,000 cash.

-Patrick Thomas Sytsma, 23; assault and battery; arrested March 2 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned May 2; pretrial: May 20; bail: $250 cash.

-Mark Joseph Tomczak, 50; operating a vehicle while intoxicated; arrested April 27 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned May 2; pretrial: June 3; bail: $250 cash.

-Daniel Lee Adams, 68; defrauding an innkeeper; arrested March 11 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned May 2; pretrial: May 20; bail: personal recognizance.

-Christopher Lloyd Rosenow, 45; truancy; arrested Oct. 3, 2023 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 2; pretrial: May 20; bail: personal recognizance.

-Nicole Ray Underwood, 37; truancy; arrested Sept. 11, 2023 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 2; pretrial: May 20; bail: personal recognizance.

-Rebecca Ann Woodard, 39; truancy; arrested Sept. 11, 2023 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 2; pretrial: May 20; bail: personal recognizance.

-Lindsay Alison Dacey, 48; two counts of truancy; arrested Sept. 15, 2023 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 2; pretrial: May 20; bail: personal recognizance.

-Jamie Ann Rosenow, 43; truancy; arrested Sept. 12 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 2; pretrial: May 20; bail: personal recognizance.

-Zaria Elaine Maxwell, 34; truancy; arrested Oct. 2, 2023 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 2; pretrial: May 2; bail: personal recognizance.

-Mark Edmund Scheuer, 53; second offense driving while license suspended and transporting an open intoxicant in a vehicle; arrested Dec. 31, 2023 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 2; pretrial: May 20; bail: personal recognizance.

-Michael Scott Hottum, 51; public intoxication; arrested April 27 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned May 2; pretrial: TBD; bail: $250 cash.

-Nicole Marie Papadakos, 41; driving while license suspended; arrested March 21 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned May 2; pretrial: May 20; bail: personal recognizance.

-Austin Lee Beck, 26; failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance); arrested April 6 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned May 2; pretrial: May 20; bail: personal recognizance.

Sentencings 

The following were recently sentenced in Mason County’s 79^th District Court:

-Clinton John Taylor, 34, pleaded guilty on May 8 to second offense domestic violence and was sentenced to 365 days in jail and $200 in fines/costs.

-Michael Scott Hottum, 51, pleaded guilty on May 2 to public intoxication and was sentenced to pay $250 in fines/costs.
