Obituary: Russell Bedker, 77, of Scottville

Russell Bedker

Russell Carl Bedker, 77, of Scottville, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. He was born on December 7, 1946, the son of Harry Bedker and Neta (Wever) Bedker. 

Russ graduated from Mason County Central High School in 1965. On February 27th of 1965 he married Sandra Sue Pfefferle.

Russ worked for Miller Brothers Oil Company as a truck driver, for Stokely USA as a field coordinator, for KMG Prestige as a maintenance technician and he operated his own vegetable farm for many years.

Russ is survived by his daughters, Suann (Craig) Eisenlohr, Russhell (Scott) Mund; grandchildren, Genesis Wrege, Otto Wrege, Owyn Bates; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Russ was preceded in death by his parents Harry Bedker, Neta (Wever) Bedker; sisters, Patricia (Bedker) Monton, and Mary (Bedker) VanBavel; brothers, Steve Bedker, and Bruce Bedker; his wife Sandra (Pfefferle) Bedker; and son, Russell Bedker.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 9, at 11 a.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Scottville. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. at the church.
