Tickets still available for Conservation District Banquet

AMBER TOWNSHIP — The Mason-Lake Conservation District is holding its annual banquet and board elections on Thursday, March 7 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 765 W. US 10-31. Doors open at 5 p.m. with the program beginning at 6 p.m.

Conservation District staff will have booths on display to share accomplishments of 2023 and current programs available to the public. Polls will be open for the Board of Director elections prior to dinner. Dinner will be catered by Gloria Ann’s Catering of Fountain and will be followed by award presentations for Outstanding Conservationist, Volunteer of the Year, results of the Board of Director’s election as well as raffle and door prize winners.

Tickets are $15 per person, payable at the door Conservation District or via phone by calling the Conservation District Office at 231-757-3707. RSVP is required by February 27. No ticket purchase is necessary to vote for the director election, only for dinner. Ballots will be available at the door. Absentee ballots can also be obtained by stopping in the Conservation District office or calling to have one mailed. Ballots must be received back to the Conservation District by March 7 to be counted.
