Suspect in Jebavy Dr. break-ins apprehended
PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — The suspect possibly connected to a series of break-ins that occurred along Jebavy Drive has been apprehended by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office.
A post on the department’s Facebook post stated that deputies, while on patrol early this morning, noticed a suspicious person in the area of Jebavy Drive and quickly made contact with the subject.
“Through an investigation it was determined the person in question was believed to be the subject involved in the burglaries in the last several weeks and was likely on his way to break into more businesses when he was apprehended,” the post stated. “The investigation is on going, but we want to give credit to the community for keeping vigilant, calling in tips, and watching out for each other. Also to our deputies who have worked so diligently on finding this person. Spending hours sitting and walking the areas, collecting evidence, and tracking down leads all in order to bring this person to justice for our community.”
The break-ins occurred the morning of Saturday, Feb. 10 in the 300 block of North Jebavy Drive, just north of US 10.
