The following is police activity in Mason County over the weekend:

Friday, Jan. 19, 2024:

• 11:26 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), two-vehicle crash, no injury, Maple Road and Emerson Lake Drive, Branch Township.
• 4:55 p.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive south of Fountain Road, Hamlin Township.
• 7:08 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive north of Johnson Road, Pere Marquette Township.
• 8:03 p.m., (MCSO), unfounded assault, Thornwild Apartments, City of Scottville. Deputies responded to a reported assault with injuries. Through the investigation, it was determined the case was unfounded.

Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024:

• 8:42 a.m., (MCSO), vehicle slide-off — no damage or injuries, Custer and Sugar Grove roads, Sherman Township.

Sunday, Jan. 21, 2023:

• 1:10 p.m., (MCSO), a 46-year-old Branch man was arrested for domestic violence and meth possession following a 911 call reporting an assault, 5800 block of South Taylor Road, Logan Township. Deputies recovered a glass pipe containing suspected meth from the scene.
• 3:15 p.m., (MCSO), damaged property, Brye and Hawley roads, Riverton Township. The complainant reported damage to a fruit tree.
• 3:16 p.m., ​(MCSO), a 69-year-old Ludington man was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS) following a traffic stop, Rasmussen Road and Lancer Lane, Pere Marquette Township.
• 7:44 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, 4800 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
• 7:44 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 38-year-old Fountain man was arrested on a warrant, along with charges of methamphetamine possession, operating without insurance and DWLS, Weaver Road near Stephen Avenue, Branch Township. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
