Michigan Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funding for the Mason County Home Improvement Program (MCHIP)
Mason County will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 7 p.m. in the conference room at the Mason County Airport Terminal for the purpose of affording citizens an opportunity to examine and submit comments on the proposed Home Improvement Project application for a CDBG Housing Improving Local Livability (CHILL) Program grant.
Mason County proposes to use $500,000.00 in CDBG funds and $50,000 in local funds to perform Home Improvement Projects to benefit low to moderate income persons. Zero persons will be displaced as a result of the proposed activities.

To inspect the documents, please contact Fabian Knizacky at fknizacky@masoncounty.net or review at the Mason County Airport Terminal, 5300 W. US 10, Ludington, Michigan. Comments may be submitted in writing through January 29, 2024 or made in person at the public hearing.
Mason County has successfully implemented a number of CDBG programs funded by the State.
Citizen views and comments on the proposed application are welcome.
