Felonies
Peterson
-Nicole Diane Peterson, 39; embezzlement by an agent of trustee $1,000 to $20,000; date of offense: September 10, 2022; arrested by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Jan. 5; probable cause hearing: Jan. 17; bail: $5,000 personal recognizance.
Siefka
-Daniel James Siefka, 33; two counts of fraudulent use of building contract funds by a contractor; dates of offense: September 21, 2022, and July 1, 2021; arrested by Ludington Police Department; arraigned Jan. 10; probable cause hearing: Jan. 31; bail: $10,000 cash.
Michalko
-Daniel Sylvester Michalko, 20; third-degree criminal sexual conduct on an incapacitated victim; date of offense: May 27, 2023; arrested by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Jan. 4; probable cause hearing: Jan. 17; bail: $500/10 percent.
Miller
-Ronald Scott Miller, 58; possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine/ecstasy), possession of a controlled substance (narcotics/cocaine), and third-offense habitual offender; date of offense: June 1, 2023; arrested by Ludington Police Department; arraigned Jan. 4; probable cause hearing: Jan. 17; bail: $250/10 percent.

-James Arthur Nash, 51; domestic violence; arrested Dec. 10 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Jan. 4; pretrial: Jan. 29; bail: $500 cash.
-Jade Morgan Shepard, 18; domestic violence; arrested Jan. 1 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Jan. 4; pretrial: Jan. 29; bail: $500 personal recognizance.
-Dwayne Gene Gardner, 19; domestic violence; arrested Jan. 6 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Jan. 8; pretrial: Jan. 29; bail: $2,500/10 percent.
-Perry Laverne Putnam, 38; two counts of assault and battery; arrested Dec. 23 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Jan. 4; pretrial: Jan. 29; bail: $500 personal recognizance.

-Kevin Michael Burton, 41; transporting an open intoxicant in a motor vehicle; arrested Dec. 16 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Jan. 4; pleaded guilty.
-Miles Anthony Austin, 28; second-offense operating a vehicle while intoxicated; arrested Dec. 31 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned Jan. 4; pretrial: Feb. 5; bail: $500 cash.
-Tambrea Dorene Sumner, 27; operating a vehicle while intoxicated, arrested Jan. 1 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned Jan. 4; pretrial: Feb. 12; bail: $500 cash.
-James Andrew Slonecki, 36; operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .17 or more; arrested Jan. 7 by Michigan State Police; arraigned Jan. 8; pretrial: Feb. 12; bail: $250/10 percent.
