The following is recent activity in Mason County of the Hart post of the Michigan State Police:

Sunday, Dec. 31, 2023:

• 8 a.m., a 30-year-old Grand Rapids man was arrested on a failure to appear warrant, US 10 and Tyndall Road, Branch Township.

Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024:

• 6:34 p.m., a 19-year-old Branch man was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon — a loaded firearm, US 10 and Jebavy Drive, Pere Marquette Township.
