New plat books available

The new Mason County Plat Book is now available. The spiral-bound book features the standard landownership map pages showing townships and ranges within the county, including property boundaries for all rural parcels. Along with landownership maps are the new enhanced LiDAR aerial view maps that show a 3D-like topographical look at the local land. The book is a project of Michigan State University Extension – Mason County 4-H Youth Programs, with publisher Mapping Solutions.

The new edition includes information on the MSU Extension – Mason County 4-H, an updated government directory page, a lake directory, soils map, watersheds map, municipality maps, county road map and much more.

This information is valuable to anyone interested, particularly those who own land in Mason County. Prospective or adjoining property owners, hunters, foresters, timber and petroleum industry personnel, emergency services and many others could benefit from this valuable information.

The 2023 Mason County Plat Book is available for purchase for $30 cash or check at:
