The following is recent Mason County Sheriff’s Office activity:
Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2023:
- 6:55 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 west of Quarterline Road, Amber Township.
- 7:40 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 west of Stiles Road, Amber Township.
- 5:40 p.m., a 44-year-old Grawn man was arrested on charges of open intoxicants, failure to identify, and damaged property, 4600 block of North LaSalle Road, Victory Township. He was arrested following a 911 call reporting a person recklessly driving in a person’s yard. The suspect was found sitting in his vehicle in the 911 caller’s back yard. Deputies observed damage to the yard. When approached, he refused to identify himself, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.
- 9:15 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive north of Fountain Road, Hamlin Township.
Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023:
- 5 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Lakeshore Drive south of Abrahamson Road, Hamlin Township.
- 9:47 a.m., one-vehicle rollover crash, no injury, Fisher Road east of Jebavy Drive, Hamlin Township.
- 5:40 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Hawley Road west of Walhalla Road, Logan Township.
- 6:09 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 north of Budde Road, Grant Township.
