Man arrested on multiple charges including felony drug possession

SHERIDAN TOWNSHIP — A 50-year-old Fountain man was arrested by Michigan State Police troopers from the Hart post on multiple charges including felony drug possession Tuesday, Nov, 14, at 6:20 p.m. on 20th Street near Stolberg Road, according to MSP. The suspect was also charged with driving while license suspended, unlawful license plate, operating without insurance and a conservation violation.

The following is activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023:

• 12:27 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Pere Marquette Highway south of Meyers Road, Pere Marquette Township.
• 12:29 a.m.,one-vehicle hit-and-run crash, no injury, Bean and Hansen roads, Custer Township. A 47-year-old Scottville man was cited after the vehicle he was operating failed to make a left turn from Bean Road onto Hansen Road and struck two mailboxes.
• 5:17 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Pere Marquette Highway north of Lattin Road, Summit Township.
• 7:18 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Millerton Road east of Morse Road, Sheridan Township.
• 7:58 a.m., two-vehicle crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive north of US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
• 8 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Manales Road west of Reek Road, Sherman Township.
• 10:30 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Johnson Road east of Custer Road, Custer Township.
• 2:25 p.m., one-vehicle crash, no injury, US 31 freeway near the Ludington rest area, Summit Township.
• 5:35 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway south of the Conrad Road overpass, Amber Township.
• 5:48 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Chauvez Road east of Darr Road, Eden Township.
• 7:25 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Scottville Road north of Powers Road, Custer Township.
• 10:21 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Decker Road east of Jebavy Drive, Hamlin Township.
