Woman sentenced to prison for meth

LUDINGTON — A 41-year-old woman was sentenced in Mason County’s 51st Circuit Court Tuesday, Nov. 7, to a prison term of 13 months to 40 years for methamphetamine possession, according to court records.

Cristy Ann Pider pleaded guilty, Oct. 3. A misdemeanor charge of larceny less than $200 was dismissed. She received credit for 84 days served in jail.

Pider also was sentenced to a concurrent one-year term for probation violation and received credit for 359 days served in jail. Probation stems from a 2021 conviction of accessory to a felony after the fact, court records state. Pider absconded from probation last March, according to Michigan Department of Corrections records. She was previously convicted of meth possession in Oceana County in 2022.
