Obituary: Yvonne McCumber, 85, of Ludington

Yvonne Jeanette McCumber, 85, of Ludington, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023. She was born on February 19, 1938, in Grand Rapids, to Adam and Helen Ezdebski.

Yvonne had a fulfilling career, working for Star Watchcase and LDI. She took pride in her work and made many lasting contributions to her field. Outside of work, Yvonne had a variety of hobbies that brought her joy. She loved spending time with her dog Sadie, playing bingo, and being around her family and friends. Yvonne also found solace in attending church and was a faithful member of St. Simon Catholic Church.

Yvonne is survived by her nephew, Michael Ezdebski and niece, Karen Ezdebski Mass. She leaves behind cherished memories and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband, James McCumber, as well as her parents and brothers, Ralph Ezdebski and Ronald Ezdebski.

A Mass from the Order of Christian Funerals will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at 11 a.m. at St. Simon Catholic Church in Ludington, with Rev. Wayne B. Wheeler Jr. presiding. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. at the church. Yvonne will be laid to rest at Lakeview Cemetery in Ludington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Lakeshore Resource Center.
