The following is recent police activity in Mason County:

Thursday, Sept. 28, 2023:

• 7 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, Morse Road and Zynda Lane, Sheridan Township. A 26-year-old Irons man swerved to miss a deer; struck a guardrail; and then struck the deer.
• 11:08 a.m., (MCSO), deputies took a 46-year-old Indiana man into custody on a warrant for resisting officers from an incident in June of 2021, Mason County Jail, City of Ludington.
• 1:09 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 60-year-old Ludington woman was cited for operating without insurance, US 10 near Walgreen’s, Pere Marquette Township.
• ​6:31 p.m., (LPD), a 37-year-old Ludington man was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS), Danaher and Washington​ streets, City of Ludington.
• 7:06 p.m., (LPD), ​a 61-year-old Ludington man was arrested for violating a 79th District Court probation stipulation prohibiting the consumption of alcohol, 300 block of East Foster Street​, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 8:05 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, US 31 and Main Street, Custer Township. A 25-year-old Allendale man struck a deer.
• 9:43 pm p.m., (MCSO), disturbance, West Shore Community College rec center, 3000 block of North Stiles Road, Victory Township. The caller reported two subjects had gotten into a fight while playing basketball. Prior to arrival, they had been separated and neither of them wished to pursue charges.

Friday, Sept. 29, 2023:

• 2:10 a.m., (LPD), ​a 24-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for violating a district court bond condition prohibiting the consumption of alcohol, 200 block of East Danaher Street​, City of Ludington. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 4:40 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, US 31 on-ramp at Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township. A 39-year-old Ludington woman struck a deer.

No recent activity was reported by the Scottville Police Department.
