All traffic lanes on US 10 expected to open Friday, temporarily
PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — Lane closures on US 10 between Pere Marquette Highway and Jackson Road will temporarily end beginning Friday, Sept. 29, according to a memo from Michigan Department of Transportation.
From Thursday, Oct. 5 to Saturday, Oct. 7, lane closures will start again as milling and resurfacing of the outer lanes and road approaches begin. Traffic regulators and law enforcement will be assisting with traffic control. Increased traffic delays are expected during that time.
From Thursday, Oct. 12, to Saturday, Oct. 14 traffic will be switched to the outside lanes while the middle three lanes are milled and resurfaced.
The current completion date of the project is expected to be the first week of November, weather dependent.
