Circle Rocking S Children’s Farm to hold Blessing of the Animals
SHERMAN TOWNSHIP — Circle Rocking S Children’s Farm, 5487 N. Tuttle Rd., will hold its annual Blessing of the Animals on Sunday, Sept. 17 beginning at 1:30 p.m. Blessings will include pets and livestock.
All animals must be on a short leash/lead or in a carrier. Owners are responsible for their pets. Attendees do not need to have an animal to attend.
The event, which is a fundraiser for the non-profit farm, will include a silent auction, a pet show, and games following the blessing service. The cost is $5 per class.
Games/shows will include:
- Animal costumes
- Clothes pin in the bottle drop (free)
- Men’s beard and mustache contest
- Ladies’ bonnet contest
Trophies will be awarded for first place and ribbons for second and third places. All ages are welcome to enter.
