51st Circuit Court sentencings, posted Aug. 31, 2023

LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced this week in Mason County’s 51st Circuit Court:

Benyo

– Alys Jean Benyo, 35, pleaded guilty April 11, 2023 to methamphetamine possession and was sentenced Aug. 29, 2023 to one year in jail with credit for 82 days served and $398 in fines and costs. She was found guilty of probation violation and sentenced Aug. 29, 2023 to a concurrent one-year jail term with credit for 118 days served in jail and $658 in fines and costs.

Caldwell

– Melissa Renea Caldwell, 34, pleaded “no contest” June 30, 2023 to assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and received a delayed sentence Aug. 29, 2023 of 78 days in jail with credit for 78 days served; 11 months probation; and $458 in fines and costs. A delayed sentencing hearing is set for June 25, 2024.

Thrailkill

– Amy Jo Thrailkill, 50, pleaded guilty July 11, 2023 to first-degree retail fraud and received a delayed sentence Aug. 29, 2023 of one day in jail with credit for one day served; 11 months probation; $1,864.05 in restitution to Walmart; and $598 in fines and costs. A delayed sentencing hearing is set for June 25, 2024.

Tweedale

– Stephanie Lydia Tweedale, 30, pleaded guilty June 27, 2023 to first-degree retail fraud and driving while license suspended and was sentenced Aug. 29, 2023 to three days in jail with credit for three days served; two years probation; and $648 in fines and costs. No restitution was ordered as the stolen items totaling $1,239.74 were returned to Walmart.
