PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — The 2023 Western Michigan Fair began today, Monday, Aug. 7, with youth livestock competitions, exhibit judging and harness racing. The midway will open Tuesday, Aug. 8 at 3 p.m. Beginning at 5 p.m., the first 500 children through the gate receive a $1 compliments of West Shore Bank.
