Man sent to prison for taking, sending images of unclothed females

LUDINGTON — A 34-year-old Ludington man was sentenced to prison in Mason County’s 51st Circuit Court Tuesday, June 13, on convictions of two counts of capturing/distributing images of an unclothed person, third-degree criminal sexual conduct and child sexually abusive material.

Ricky Lee Hendrickson, Jr., was sentenced to concurrent prison terms of seven to 22 ½ years; two to seven years; and two to six years. Judge Susan K. Sniegowski gave Hendrickson credit for one day served in jail.

He pleaded “no contest” to the charges May 2, and a charge of first-degree CSC was dismissed. 

Hendrickson was ordered to pay $402 in fines and costs and will be required to register as a sex offender.

There were two female victims — one was a minor and one was an adult, said Mason County Chief Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Beth Hand. The offenses occurred between October and December of 2021.
