Ludington Run Club hosting virtual 150 mile Ludington’s Sesquicentennial challenge
LUDINGTON — The Ludington Run Club is challenging runners and walkers to log 150 miles to celebrate Ludington’s Sesquicentennial. The challenge is virtual, meaning that anyone can participate, no matter where they are located. Registration is open now through November 1.
“We wanted to do something fun for Ludington’s 150th birthday and thought this would be a great opportunity to raise money for the track team.” said Jen Tooman, founder of the run club.
Registration is $25 and includes a 3.5-inch custom finishers medal featuring the City of Ludington’s commemorative sesquicentennial logo. Short sleeve t-shirts and long sleeve dry-fit shirts are also available for purchase. Proceeds from the virtual event and merchandise sales will be donated to the Ludington Area Schools track program.
