Visiting the symphony

Spartan News is a presentation of Mason County Central Schools in partnership with Mason County Press. 

MUSKEGON — Mason County Central fourth and fifth grade students attended a performance of the West Michigan Symphony today at the Frauenthal Center in Muskegon. Over 1,300 elementary students attended the 19th Link Up West Michigan concert. The MCC music students, under the direction of April Keith, even had the opportunity to play along with the orchestra with their recorders. Fifth grader Annabelle Conway was selected to sing on stage with the orchestra.
