State Park to offer archery program on May 13

HAMLIN TOWNSHIP — The Ludington State Park will be hosting National Archery Day on Saturday, May 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The free program is for anyone ages 8 and older (children 17 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult). 

There are no reservations required and equipment will be furnished. 

The program will include a history of archery, safety procedures and target shooting. It takes place at the park’s archery range, which is located behind the amphitheater south of the Big Sauble River foot bridge. Parking is available by taking the first entrance south of the river, near the Skyline Trail.
