Judge orders woman’s arrest for bond violation
LUDINGTON — A 38-year-old Branch woman was arrested by a Mason County sheriff’s deputy at the Mason County Courthouse Wednesday, March 22, around 1:30 p.m. “after it was learned she was having contact with a co-defendant who was incarcerated in the Mason County Jail,” said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.
Judge John Middlebrook of the 79th District Court ordered the deputy at the courthouse to take the subject into custody, said Cole. She remains lodged in the Mason County Jail.

The Ludington Police Department met MSP near Hart; took the man into custody; and lodged him in the Mason County Jail. The original charge was a 2013 marijuana possession charge.
