Warrant arrests top police activity

The following is recent Mason County Sheriff’s Office activity:

Monday, Feb. 20, 2023:

• 11:59 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 near Hansen Road, Custer Township.
• 5 p.m., deputies arrested a 24-year-old Buckley man who turned himself in at the sheriff’s office on a Mason County failure to appear warrant for a charge of operating while intoxicated, 400 block of South Harrison Street, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2023:

• 1:26 a.m., following a traffic stop, deputies arrested a 43-year-old Baldwin man on a civil child neglect warrant issued in Branch County, US 10 and Gordon Road, Amber Township. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
