Public Notice: Commissioner Vacancy, City of Scottville

The City of Scottville is currently accepting letters of interest for the purpose of filling a “Commissioner At-Large” vacancy.

This seat is a partial term, set to expire November 2024. The successful applicant must be a resident of the City of Scottville for at least one year immediately preceding their appointment to office. The successful applicant must also be a qualified and registered voter of the City of Scottville prior to their appointment and throughout their tenure in office.

Interested persons must submit a Letter of Interest to Jimmy Newkirk, City Manager, at Scottville City Hall, 105 North Main Street, Scottville, MI 49454. Letters of Interest will be received until February 9, 2023, at 2 p.m. The appointment will be made at the Regular Commission meeting held Monday, February 13, 2023, which begins at 6:30 p.m. For further information you may contact the city offices at 231-757-4729.
