Reimink resigning as county emergency management coordinator

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — Mason County Emergency Management Coordinator Elizabeth Reimink gave her notice of resignation Tuesday morning to the Mason County Board of Commissioners during the board’s regular monthly meeting. Reimink has served in the position for 16 years and has recently accepted a position as northern director of emergency management at Indiana University.
“With immense gratitude, I want to thank the Board of Commissioners, Administrator (Fabian) Knizacky and all of our fellow county employees for helping to make me the professional I am today. You took a chance on a new professional, and supported my development over the years.
County Board Chair Janet Anderson thanked Reimink for her service. Reimink will continue to serve in the position until mid-February.
