LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79^th District Court:

Felonies

Rice

-Steven Geno Rice, 25, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine/ecstasy), fourth-degree fleeing from a police officer in a vehicle, reckless driving, driving while license suspended and fourth offense habitual offender; arrested Dec. 14 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; probable cause hearing: Dec. 28; bail: $250,000 cash.

Eric Hernandez

-Eric Anthony Hernandez, 35, second-degree criminal sexual conduct; arrested Oct. 21 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Dec. 15; probable cause hearing: Jan. 4; bail: $50,000 cash.

Hawkins

-Devin William Hawkins, 29, delivery/manufacturing a controlled substance (methamphetamine); arrested Nov. 10 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Dec. 19; probable cause hearing: Dec. 28; bail: $50,000 cash. Separate charge: Possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine/ecstasy), dangerous weapons violation, and fourth offense habitual offender; arrested Dec. 17 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Dec. 21; probable cause hearing: Dec. 18; bail: $10,000 cash.

Almenteros

-Yunier Almenteros, 39, first degree retail fraud; arrested Sept. 6 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Dec. 21; probable cause hearing: Jan. 4; bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.

-Matthew Jon McConnell, 42, interfering with an electronic communications device and assault & battery; arrested Nov. 17 by Scottville Police Department; arraigned Dec. 15; probable cause hearing: Dec. 28; bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.

Abram Hernandez

-Abram Rene Hernandez, 32, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine/ecstasy) and assault/resisting/obstructing a police officer; arrested Dec. 18 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Dec. 18; probable cause hearing: Dec. 18; bail: $250 cash.

Misdemeanors

-David Jordan Wahr, 29, failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance); arrested June 27, 2021 by Michigan State Police; arraigned Dec. 15; pretrial: Jan. 9; bail: $250 cash.

-Mark Vincent Schwab, 64, domestic violence; arrested May 21 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Dec. 19; pretrial: Jan. 9; bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.

-Tania Talea Garcia Hernandez, 29, allowing a person to drive in violation of the vehicle code; arrested Oct. 29 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Dec. 15; pleaded guilty.

-Kaydee Marie Compeau, 23, operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .17 or more and transporting an open intoxicant in a motor vehicle; arrested Dec. 11 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Dec. 15; pretrial: Jan. 23; bail: $250 cash.

-Trevor Michael Henriksen, 22, operating while intoxicated; arrested Dec. 11 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned Dec. 15; pretrial: Jan. 23; bail: $250 cash.

-Joseph Michael LeClair, 62, aggravated assault, arrested Dec. 14 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned Dec. 15; pretrial: Jan. 9; bail: $5,000/10 percent.

-Gary Lynn Dewey, 73, operating while intoxicated; arrested Dec. 15 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned Dec. 21; pretrial: Jan. 23; bail: $250 cash.

-Sierra Rose Sutton, 21, operating while intoxicated; arrested Dec. 18 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Dec. 19; pretrial: Jan. 23; bail: $250/10 percent.

-Jeffrey Lee Scholten, 51, improper license plates and no proof of insurance; arrested Nov. 23 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Dec. 15; pretrial: Jan. 9; bail: personal recognizance.

-David Shannon Tucker, 56, driving while license suspended; arrested Nov. 22 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Dec. 15; pretrial: Jan. 9; bail: personal recognizance.

-Brian Adam Lange, 37, improper license plates; arrested Nov. 25 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned Dec. 15; pretrial: Jan. 9; bail: personal recognizance.
