Obituary: Jessie LaFleur, 93, of Ludington
Jessie Jean (Grubbs) LaFleur, 93, of Ludington, formerly of Saginaw, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022. Jessie was born November 18, 1929, the daughter of Lonnie and Emma (Stewart) Grubbs. Jessie married the love of her life, Raymond F. LaFleur on October 8, 1949, and spent 40 wonderful years with him until his passing in 1990.
Jessie was a beloved member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Saginaw. She loved attending church functions and worshipping her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Jessie was an avid gardener and loved crocheting in her free time.
Jessie is survived by daughters, Frances Kopf, and Joan Klein; sons, Dwight LaFleur, and Mark LaFleur; grandchildren, Grant Klein, Katy Weiss, Travis LaFleur, Taber LaFleur, Brenna LaFleur, and Emily LaFleur; great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Emma Klein, Paige and Mitchell Weiss, Caris and Evan LaFleur; sister, Peggy Myers; and brother, Eugene Grubbs.
Jessie was preceded in death by her grandson, David Ellis; sisters, Nellie Johnson, and Dorothy Sharp; and brothers, Aliva Grubbs, and Johnny Grubbs.
